One of my favorite design philosophies is that a home should feel collected, not decorated.
The most memorable homes are never the ones where everything was purchased at once or carefully matched. They are homes that unfold over time, where each artwork tells a story, marks a chapter, or evokes a feeling. They reflect the people who live there.
Curating this beautiful home was an absolute delight because that philosophy guided every decision we made.
Rather than searching for a single style or artist, we embraced variety while maintaining a sense of harmony. An expressive abstract painting anchors the living room with quiet energy. A vibrant floral painting brings warmth and joy to a sunlit corner. In the entry, a striking grid installation creates an unforgettable first impression, while sculptural butterflies and whimsical mixed-media works invite moments of surprise and delight throughout the home.
Each piece has its own personality, yet together they create a visual rhythm that feels both intentional and effortless.
One of the greatest joys of my work is helping clients build collections that feel authentic to who they are, not simply choosing artwork that matches a sofa or complements a paint color. When thoughtfully curated, art becomes the thread that connects a home, giving it depth, character, and soul.
Years from now, I hope these pieces will continue to remind this family of where they were in this season of life, the artists they discovered, and the stories they chose to bring into their home. Because the best collections are never really finished. They simply continue to grow.
